After the heifer's owner contacted the Temple Institute, on Friday, April 5th, 2001, Rabbi Menachem Makover and Rabbi Chaim Richman traveled to the farm where the heifer is located, to inspect and validate her status. The rabbis found her to be kosher and were satisfied that this heifer could indeed be a candidate to be used in the process of purification described in the book of Numbers, chapter 19. This is a prerequisite for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple.

WebCrossing integration via XML-RPC is possible now following the SOAP::Lite update. Have knocked out a Perl script rpc_server.cgi which has 4 methods that a corresponding command-line script rpc-client.pl can call. Have emailed the details to Dave Hunt who's going to make the same calls using the server-side JavaScript XML-RPC support in WebCrossing.

Installed updated SOAP::Lite 0.55 today on Asterix to patch the bugs found in the module last month. Also means we can have a look at the new XML-RPC methods supported in the latest version. Check out the README and the make test/install results if you're interested. There are three dependency modules missing that were highlighted duing the Makefile stage, but these are FTP and SMTP related and we'll only be using HTTP initially.

What Defines a CMS? was asked on the CMS list last Thrursday by someome who wanted to explain the benefits of one to management. There have been loads of replies pretty much based individual personal experience or needs, and comparisons between CMS and app-servers, but a couple of interesting definitions where the two are blended and the content is considered more broadly than just web use.
