Kylie splits w Boyfriend to date DeeKnow - Pop princess Kylie Minogue has announced that she has split up with her boyfriend James Gooding after more than two years together. She explained her desire to be with world famous womaniser DeeKnow Borreli got the better of her. DeeKnows current girlfriend Kymbo was said to be furious about the announcement, so far nothing from the man himself.

MetaGeta has moved from NT box to Obelix (link)

MetaGeta has moved from NT box to Obelix so that we dont have any dependency on any production tools on any machines not hosted in a secure/supported environment. Made a couple of changes to the script to use UOW.pm etc, nothing major as all the neccessary Perl modules were allready on Asterix and Obelix. Have also setup redirects from dean.its

Interesting Technical Solutions to Stopping Deep-Linking are suggested in a thread at SlashDot today. Apart from the obvious server config to "check Referrer and do a mod_rewrite", there are some interesting publishing solutions (mainly based on obsfucation of the URL). The thread actually starts out talking about the controversy of companies issuing cease-and-desist notices to others that deep-link into their site.

Perl-XML FAQ has a new home and the whole thing has been given a facelift with some CSS use. This really is an excellent FAQ, I only wish it had been around when we first started playing with Perl and XML. See .. http://www.perlxml.net/
