The Brick Testament - this is amazing.  The Old Testament and New Testament both illustrated in dozens of scenes built entirely out of Lego bricks.  Someone with too much time on their hands methinks.

HT-Dig indexing of numbers is set to false by default. Have set this to true for the Calendar Search as course numbers in the calender which would be useful to be searchable. Syntax is..

Codes for accented characters (link)

Codes for accented characters have been a hassle during the Science Template migration. A post to the Perl-XML list today included a link to a list of accented characters and their numerical and textual codes which is gonna be really useful as it looks like I'm gonna have to either author a DTD or do some scripted encoding before running the XPath queries

Applied SP6a and Latest IIS patches (link)

Applied SP6a and Latest IIS patches to our NT box today following the recent vulnerabilities announced through BugTraq and the MS security bulletins. The IIS patch "is a cumulative patch that includes the functionality of all security patches released for IIS 4.0 since Windows NT 4.0 SP6a".

100,000 Muslims rendered homeless by riots in Gujarat (link)

100,000 Muslims rendered homeless by riots in Gujarat and 800 are dead during retalliation to the torching of a train containing Hindu activists in February by a Muslim group. Things have been bad in Israel lately but there's hardly anything in our local news about whats going on in India.

A loudspeaker blared out this grim message in Pandharvada village...

"CLEANSE the village of cow-eaters. Remove all Muslims. Chase them and kill them"
