120 Mexican police arrested near Tijuana (link) I'm hoping to go to San Diego in July to the Oreilly Open-source convention, so was interested to read in an article at CNN.com about "120 Mexican police arrested near Tijuana" following an investigation into police corruption and involvement with drug smuggling accross the border. Check this out... Last week outside Tecate, Mexican authorities dismantled a secret, 1,000-foot tunnel under the U.S.-Mexico border that was believed used by the gang to ship tons of cocaine and marijuana into California for more than a decade 5:30:11 PM |
My Dad's recovering from Bypass Surgery (link)
My Dad's recovering from Bypass Surgery which he had up at Waikato Hospital yesterday. Seems like the operation went well and he's recovering in the Intensive Care Unit as expected according to staff. Kinda freaky looking at him with all those hoses hanging out of him. 5:06:38 PM |
Installed Apache2 and PHP (link) Installed Apache2 and PHP this morning on dean.its.waikato.ac.nz. PHP is running in CGI mode, ie the EXE gets spawned for each request, but functionally the PHP scripting is the same. Couldnt get it to run using the DLL for some reason. Have moved IIS onto port 8080 on that machine and redirect the metageta.pl script to 8080 from Apache. 1:07:27 PM |
