Content Management Nightmares (link) Content Management Nightmares - thread on Slashdot that starts out... "I've recently been looking into content management systems for my company and have found that there are all kinds of systems out there.Has anyone used any of these systems well? For more than just web content? Has anyone tried any open source systems and used them well?" Loads of interesting replies, plenty of mentions of Zope and MS CMS and Vignette etc. 5:16:28 PM |
Publishing OPML as HTML (link) Publishing OPML as HTML is a piece of cake using Joshua Allen's XSLT file and an XSL processor. Have created an OPML file here using Radio (could also do this from a script of course) and rendered the HTML file using Sablotron and the XSLT file. The HTML page displays the outline using some DHTML to expand/collapse the outline entities. Quite nifty, if you're into Outliners ;-) 3:48:55 PM |
The Microsoft DHTML Editing control (link) The Microsoft DHTML Editing control provides a full-featured WYSIWYG HTML editor as a control that you can add to any application. A sample is provided which shows the DHTML Editing control hosted in an HTML document. Have copied it to 2:49:36 PM |
The Ghost Danse (link) The Ghost Danse - "I will tell you this from personal observation: the whole universe is alive, even "dead" matter, even photons. Much of it is not conscious except in a very rudimentary sense, but it is alive. And life feels, and yearns and desires. Life once separated seeks to reunite. Life once united seeks to reseparate." a series of articles intended for the serious spiritual student 2:09:21 PM |
