Kasparov Leads Computer (link)
Chess

Chess Legend Gazza Kasparov is in the lead after a draw in the second game of his 6 game match against Junior Deep putting him a point up. If your at all into Chess, check out Wired's live coverage of the coming games, they've got a wiced active website thingy with blow by blow commentary of each move. You can also review the action in the games that have allready been held. Great stuff.

Mood Land For Sale (link)

this is bloody classic I reckon, it has to be the ultimate con. According to an article at Wired, Dutch deviant Rene Veenema has made a small fortune over the last few years selling real estate plots on the moon to the likes of Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter.

Now, you can imagine poor old Ronnie being suckered into it, but the rest of them have realised they've been duped and now poor old Rene is spending some time inside the big house. BTW, apparently Ronnie once said the following during a microphone test...

"My fellow Americans. I am pleased to tell you that I have just signed legislation which outlaws Russia forever. The bombing begins in five minutes"

Thank God the Ruskies didnt have a bug in the room at the time.
