according to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald .."Britain and Israel are engaged in a full-scale row after the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, banned Palestinians from attending a peace conference in London next week"

Is it just me ... or is it going to be a little difficult to negotiate peace when you deny the other party the chance to contribute. Is there such a thing as one-way-negotiation.

if only I'd read this page on Russian news site Pravda before the debaucherous xmas period. According to the article "Traditional Russian methods to fight a hangover work a lot slower in comparison with Western ones. Yet, they are as efficient".

Suggested traditional Russian techniques include having another beer aka hair-of-the-dog, having a good feed of pickles (but avoid vinegar) and emptying your stomach then having a bowl of hot broth.

I'm a big fan of the empty-your-stomach method, but not so sure about the pickles idea. I'll try anything once though.
