NZ Cricket Team Beat India in Hamilton (link) yesterday a bunch of us went down to our local cricket stadium to watch the final match in a series of one-dayers between the NZ national team and India. The event also happened to be the first day-nighter for Hamilton where the last few hours are normally played under liights. The lights weren't really needed as it turned out coz the Indians were only able to manage 122 runs during their innings, and NZ reached the total taking only 30 overs and losing only 4 wickets. Basically it was a thrashing, not that we noticed. We went through our share of beer (Tui and DB-Export, hardly the ideal selection). The crowd were bloody excellent really considering the underwhelming performance out on the pitch, and the fact that even the blokes had to queue for the loo. Didn't see any arrests, and there werent any incidences of streaking that I noticed. 11:14:07 PM |
Women and Catfish (link) Now I'd have to admit an interest in both Women... and Fishing, but rarely do Women and Fish appear in the same sentence, well clean sentences at least. So the following I found intriguing to say the least...
