Dive Dive Dive !!! (link)

Dive Dive Dive !!! - I was in California this year and spent a week or so up in San Francisco having a look around the city and its sites. While I was there I did a tour of the WWII submarine USS Pampanito and took a few photos. I just love checking out war-machines, its a fascination I've had since I was a kid I guess, and man it was cool climbing through the bowels of this old-girl.

Security and Terrorism Rhetoric - according to an article in the Guardian "The latest in a raft of opinion polls....shows clearly that American common sense is beginning to eclipse the president's over-excited rhetoric.". Thank Allah for that. Speaking of rhetoric though, take the time to GW's introduction to the 'National Security Strategy'.

I was in California a month or so ago, and although folks from the South-West may not be known for their political awareness (given their proximity to Hollywood :-) it was comforting to discover that *every person* I spoke to (many from out of state) was suspicious and wary of Bush's intentions.
