End of the Dream for Warriors - well it had to happen. The Warriors amazing run of victories against the other NRL teams came to an end in the final on Sunday night. Anyone who know's me will know I'm hardly New Zealands greatest rugby-league fan, but it was hard to not get excited for the Warriors as it seemed they really were gonna get through to the final.

When I was deciding what image to attach there really wasn't any question of whether to add one of the league players, or one of the cheer-leaders. Thank-god for League and cheerleaders that are older than 12 years, come on Rugby-Union, get your act sorted out.  :-)

Leather or Synthetic - I've been blasting around on my motorbike for about six months now wearing a leather jacket for upper body protection, and common-garden Jeans as trousers. Yep, not a lot of protection likely there, so I finally got around to buying some proper padded and reinforced bike trousers.

The age-old problem of deciding whether to buy Leather or Synthetic seems to be one of trading off looking-cool (if you ride a harley) versus actually protecting your limbs. I bought a synthetic pair, they're not too bulky, and dont look too spastic.
