Were Going To Die (link)
Lets face it, the world is a pretty screwy place. You can't get past the front page of the newspaper without reading a swag of negative stories. TV news is even worse of couse, nothing but Iraq this, Korea that, Economic depression, Violence, Sex Abuse, Pollution, Corruption.....Good news just doesnt cut-it anymore. Take our local paper for example, the current headlines are things like Race attack youth was a couch potato , North Korea threatens to scrap truce, and a real clanger Threat to jobs as Cup dream sinks , I mean for christs-sake, we havent lost the America's Cup yet but people are already looking forward to job losses in the boat industry as a result. Great !!! Although I've tried to keep negativity off of this site I am kinda interested in keeping tabs on the bad-shit going on out there, so a month or so back I registered the domain name WereGoingToDie.com and am gonna start work on the design shortly. If you're interested in contributing to design or content or hearing about what I plan to do with the site, let me know. This is freaky, Kym has just come into the office as I was about to post this, and said....
Oh well, I guess its a sign. I spose I'll have to go and watch it and suck in some more negativity. I guess there'll be some material there for the new site :-) 10:57:05 PM |
A Year Goes By (link) I just realised that last week signalled the anniversary of the creation of deeknow.com, and the end of this fabulous website's first year. One year ago I was thrilling you with thoughts about Osama Bin Laden filling in our 404 form at work and the fact that I'd just written a comment submission mechanism. For those that know me, what's probably suprised you is that I've actually stuck at one thing for more than one month, let alone a whole year. In fact I cannae beleive it myself. Feel free to place your bets on whether I last another year or not. :-) 10:46:29 PM |
