Farewell, Son of Ninja
Sob, Sob ... Blubber, Blubber ... Sniff, Sniff... Have literally just sat down from shaking the hand of the new owner of my GPX/250 who bought it off me for a fistful of foldies and is now on his way back over the hill to the East Coast Seemed like a nice young fellah, on his learner license, just dumped his 125cc bike which kept blowing big-ends and was looking for a 250 to see him through to his full license when he gets to inherit his brothers VFR/400. Kym asked me if I was upset, a typically girly thing to ask, I scoffed at the suggestion of course, but it was kinda funny seeing the old girl roar off witout me, a new generation of biker starting his merry way down the highway to two-wheeled nirvana... What with the Duke sale a couple of months back, and now the baby-ninja, I'm now left with only one bike when I did have three. Now i'm really upset, where are those tissues? ... 2:13:02 PM |
