DeeKnow’s Grotto

After being off the road for about two years since its bloody fuel tank sprung a leak, I finally sorted out the GPX/250 using my magical toolbox, otherwise known as Mastercard

I may be the worlds most fabulous man, but I'm also the worlds greatest procrastinator which is why the repair has taken so long. I actually can claim some credit for fixing the bloody tank, after buying some sealer about 9months ago, then actually using it 3months later, and it appears to have done the job.

Kym had put the hard word on me to get it back on the road before we moved out of Maeroa, and I actually did get it stated but it needed a warrant and new rear tire and the front fork seals were knackered so off to the local bike shop it went for a service.

But now the old girl is back in action and going like a little beauty. Went out with Sethmeister today and did a loop round the back of Te Miro (behind Cambridge) which I used to ride on the GPX when I first got my license. Jesus its a great ride, twisty and narrow, perfect for 250's. Bloody great laugh riding the things.
