Two years ago almost to the day I wrote a post here regarding World AIDS day for 2002. As I dribbled then "things are only getting worse" before they get better and really thats still the case two years later. Because of insane charges by the big drug co.s countries like Brazil are still having to resort to patent rip-offs to replicate drugs locally to treat their affected population, and infection rates in Africa and India are still escalating despite awareness campaigns.

Looks like Science is still failing the 3 million or so who will die this year alone, but thank God for Waikato Management School who are sending a couple of Accountants to South Africa to see if they can help.

Coiincidentally today, our NZ parliament also passed a vote on the second reading of the Civil Union bill, which though stopping short of using the word "marriage" will ultimately give legal recognition to same-sex and heterosexual relationships.

Oh my God this is fucking hillarious. I was cruising through a site load of flash presentations tonight and happened across this prank phone-call audio overlayed on south-park looking characters in a flash-move. The story kinda starts like this (think Indian accents)...

and so on as the Indian prankster continues to threaten the innocent party who he's accusing of kicking his dog, and the victim denying it then eventually abusing him back. Very bloody funny, worth the download. Check it out but make sure the speakers arent cranked up too far it your at work.
