DeeKnow’s Grotto

According to an article linked to from various websites I skimmed yesterday, a waiter in Germany was sacked recently for drinking 100 bottles per day on the job. He apparently appealed the sacking at some employment court and had his job re-instated.

This all sounded a little far-fetched to me, I mean for Allah's sake, who on earth can drink a 100 bottles of beer a day, let alone keep a job down while you at it. Even the krauts arent that good. So I had a bit of a search around and the story turned up on various disreputable web sites.

One of which I had to have a bit of a peep at coz its called Tabloid Column and is pretty much as trashy as it sounds, but like all good (and bad) tabloids on occasion I find it hard to resist picking up a copy with some outreagous title on the cover just for a laugh. Noone really takes Tabloids seriously do they.

I'm glad I did coz one of their articles is a wee profile of the glorious Rita Hayworth striking a rather glamourous pose in a classic sepia toned 1940's photo. She looks amazing, and a tad or two better than your average page-3 slapper these days :-)
