DeeKnow’s Grotto

On the way home form work on Monday night I took my usual route home which involves a nice wide 80km/h straight where one can safely give the throttle a bit of a twist before approaching the lights and usual traffic queue. It was quite dark as I blasted along the road, all of a sudden during an overtaking manouvere....

B O O O F F F F  f  f  f  f ....

A bright light bursts out of the back of a non-descript van parked on the side of the road ... stuns me temporarily ... I begin to panic about the prospect of a speed-camera fine, then relax as I remember that I'm on a vehicle that is not required to have a front-mounted license plate ... HEHEhehe... Brilliant !!!

Then onto last night. This time I'm taking the alternate route home and on a section of 60km/h dual-carriageway with little or no traffic in the way I open up the throttle a little, safely pass a car and ...

B O O O F F F F  f  f  f  f ....

Would you believe it, the same friggin van, parked on the same side of the road (fortunately) another fine avoided. Now its Kawasaki 2 - Speed Camera zero !!!  But then I start to think, jeeze, bit of a coincidence that the same van picks me up in different parts of town, and the second time a bit closer to home.

So now I'm thinkin that the sneaky camera operator is using some fancy triangulation technique to narrow down my final destination.
