Robotic Heart Surgery (link) Robotic Heart Surgery - Will have to tell my father about this one, mind you he doesn't trust his digital-watch so I cant see him accepting this for the heart-surgery he had this year. CNN has an article up on a new robotic heart-surgery sytem. By making 4 relatively small incisions into the patients chest, and guided by real surgeons, the system uses its pencil sized "tools" to conduct several different heart procedures including closed-chest coronary bypass surgery.
