The Great Lawnmowing Escape
Its always great to know you can rely on your friends to get you out of a tight spot, or an unwelcome responsibility when you need them to On Monday Kym managed to pursuade me to mow the lawns round the back of the house. Its not a huge lawn really, but regardless of size theres the hassle of putting ones boots on, starting the bloody mower and emptying the catcher every few rows, so its not exactly fun. So out to the toolshed I go, extract the machine, fire it up and push off on the first row of long grass. I had barely got the mower moving when out of the corner of my eye I spot Chris emerging from inside the house with a box of Codies under his arm and a big grin on his face. So it was I shut the mower down, breathed a sigh of relief, then burst out laughing, along with everyone else (except Kym who didnt see the funny side) at the hillarious sight of the mower sitting in the long grass with a piddly section of cut lawn about 3feet long behind it. Very bloody funny sight 8:58:21 AM |
