The Stink Race  Have just weazed my way back to the house after puffing along the riverbank following what's billed as 'The Great Race', an annual rowing event between local Waikato crew and a squad from Cambridge, England.
The poms pretty much dominated the race from the start and had a length and a half lead througout the 2000m upstream battle. There were lots of folks out, the bridges were loaded with spectators and there were lots of popular viewing spots along the way. They kept their lead to the finish too in a pretty much convincing victory. Apparently they bought a much stronger squad out this year so I gues we cant complain too much. Bloody poms !!! 3:42:21 PM
