RIP the Gallant (link)
The poor old Mitsi became lots of little pieces of Mitsi yesterday when it was towed with care (I hope) from Mawzy's garage where its been stored for way too long. She finally put the hard word on me to evict the rusting carcas of Japanese spare parts from its place consuming one-half of her two-bay garage. I'm such a slacker and I cant believe she had the patience to wait this long before "firmly encouraging" me, the only way to have me do something that seems like a hassle. I just had a quick hunt around for some piccies on the Interweb but thankfully didn't find much. It was never really much of a machine to look at (tho it was the sporty Gallant of the time) but it did the trick, it trucked on for 10's of thousands of K's without a hitch (apart from the adjustable suspension bellows blowing out that time). About the only other feature of note was that you could fit loads of cassete-tapes in the center-console. Apart from that there's not much to say in a eulogy for the old girl. RIP Gallant .... Hope they dismember you gently.
