I actually feel really sorry for owners of the $5000us Segway machines they were promised they'd be joining a personal transport revolution (by trustworthy visionaries like Bill Gates) but have ended up with nowhere to ride the things. Too fast for the sidewalk, too slow for the roads. What a dilema !!! Now they know what its like to own RollerBlades or a Skateboard ... except they coulda bought dozens of each for that price.
