XML-Spy 4.4 update available (link) XML-Spy 4.4 update available - have just run the websetup option from their download page. The new update includes updates like "Spell-Checker with built-in support for 12 languages plus medical and legal dictionaries, DocBook templates, and support for CALS & HTML tables in any XML content model." 1:12:03 PM

HTDig failed to finish due to corrupt PDF (link) HTDig failed to finish due to corrupt PDF - our nightly htdig crawl failed to finish last night (and has been failing since Saturday morning) due to corrupt images embedded in a PDF which the PDF external handler 'pdftotext' was failing to parse. HTDig seems to have sat there waiting indefinately. Ard is going to look at another (or updated) PDF handler to use with HtDig. See the notes on this event for more detail. 12:42:19 PM
