Lord of the Manor (link)
Well its pretty much official now. You can call me Lord Newcastle from this day forth as Kym and I have more or less taken ownership of a house. We've been thumbing the papers and having a nosy at the odd open-home for a few months now and a couple of weeks back stumbled on a house that for the 1st time we both liked. Its up on Newcastle hill in dirty-old-Dinsdale, has a wicked view looking out over the city, has what I hope will be a low maintanence garden, and bugger all lawns so I can be drinking beer instead of mowing the freekin grass every weekend. Have some more photos if you're interested, chances are I've allready pestered you for house-buying advice so you've probably seen 'em already. We dont move in till end of January so I've got plenty of time to procrastinate all the packing that Uber-gruppen-fuhrer Hassell will no doubt be directing me to do. Its a god-damned busy and structured process this house buying, I had no idea you'd have to be so bloody organised. Its a friggin miracle in fact that with me involved that it happened at all, but its a pretty cool result to get it sorted. Lookin FWD to a few house warming drinks come January. Keep yourself posted !!! :-) 9:07:19 PM |
