Run for the Hills Peter .... Run !!!
Peter Barlow

I wouldn't normally torture anyone else with recollections of Coronation St episodes, and I dont normally watch the bloody show anyway, honest, its just that it gives me an excuse to get on the computer while Kym's getting her Coro fix so I pretend to be interested. But there's some irresistable action on the show at the moment that's just about to come to a head.

Dodgy Peter Barlow is about to get busted by his two wives.  Yep, thats right, after juggling two girlfriends at first, then getting suckered into marrying not one but both of them because he couldn't break it off either, he's ended up marrying two women and had a baby with one of them.

And now they've both met for the first time tonight and busted him. Run Peter Run !!! .... for christs sake !!!!

But no, it looks like (between ad-breaks) that he's facing up to them and admitting his guilt etc. What a balls-up. The funny (and only entertaining) thing is that he could have escaped the whole ugly scene numerous times.

A couple of nights ago I upset Kym by quipping something like "Peter, get out man, its the perfect escape" at one perfect point. Kym didnt think that 'escape' was quite the right way of resolving the situation. The totally funny thing that reinforced my view though was a few minutes later after my scolding from Kym the local Irish barman on the show Keirin advised Peter Barlow the same, pretty much word for word.

I burst out laughing, and Kym abused me (and all men in general) some more ... Jesus it was funny.
