This is so cool, all staff at the University here in Hamilton got emailed the following notice yesterday about apparent sightings of one of our native birds...

"There have been reported sightings of Kaka on campus. Those that have seen the birds can be assured that their identifying skills are spot on and that they are in fact Kaka, a rather rare and threatened bird."
