DeeKnow’s Grotto

Kym and I buried our little cat Eddy tonight out the back of the house. Some people like Dogs, some like Cats, but most people generally favour one or the other, rarely both. I come from a family of (mostly) cat lovers, and last night the great Gods of the tarmac stole another little fury soul from us.

You can blame yourself till you're blue in the face for things you could, or should have done that might have prevented certain things happening, but when it comes down to it I reckon there's always a funny balance of both chance and predestination that influences lives of all lengths which is as unavoidable as the tides or the seasons.

Eddy was a great little bugger....Feisty... Fun... Cuddly... Cute... Smart... Grateful ... and for the last 6-weeks has greeted us every night with a genuine and honest affection that we're gonna sorely miss for some time.
