CSS Float Test - there's a CSS style float which allows you to place a container like a floating style in a word-processor. I spotted something like it on a site today and have knocked up a minimalist demo here. Check it out, It's pretty kewl. It even works in NN4.

Limiting SSI calls with IncludesNOEXEC - have had a hunt through both Asterix and Obelix's web volumes looking for files that have SSI calls that use the #exec directive. Thankfully there weren't any other than our own (and one of Mike Bells which looks like a copy from another website) as the default setting for Apache on Obelix seems to be to allow Includes (including exec types).

Have been through both config files on the two machines to change any references to Includes to the more restritive IncludesNOEXEC which allows normal SSI, just not the #exec cmd format. The weird thing is that I cant for the life of me see where Obelix is enabling includes. Asterix has a specific Options entry for it for the /home/www/ directory but Obelix doesnt.

AxKit is running on Asterix on port 81 - some example renderigs here...

This is a 2nd copy of the apache binary built by ARD with axKit support running from /usr/local/apachetest/bin. It has its own config file in /usr/local/apachetest/conf/ and can be started and stopped using /usr/local/apachetest/bin/apachectl. I've just started it now, please stop it when you've finished playing. (and make sure Asterix is still serving on port 80 ;-)

The document-root is set to /home/www/axKit_test/. Have a look at the above XML files and the XSL files they reference. You might also have a look at the .htaccess file in the document root which is where the file associations and application mapping is set.
