Name: John Reynolds John (JR) Reynolds was overall winner of the 2004 season of British Superbikes riding for the Rizla Suzuki team breaking a recent monopoly on the BSB by Ducati riding entries, but the former motorcross rider has had a long-standing connection with Kawasaki. Despite not winning any races during the 1991 season Reynolds was competative on the ZXR750R and finished 3rd overall in the 750cc Supercup. In 1992 he won the Supercup championship for Team Green with only two rounds to go, in the year when Norton riders Robert Dunlop and Terry Rymer finished 2nd and 4th respectively. Fellow Kawasaki rider Brian Morrison was not far behind in 5th.
In 1995 he rode a ZXR for the Revê Racing team and was competitive against the factory supported Team Muzzy that year. He switched to riding a Ducati for the 1997 thru 1998 seasons with two 3rds and two 4ths overall during that perion, finally winning the championship in 2001.
