Ryan Farquhar is from Dungannon and has lapped the course at 117.21mph. His ambition is to win a TT race. He finished third in the 1997 Ulster Grand Prix and third in the 1998 Northwest 200 - both in the 250cc Class.

In his first race on the TT course at the Manx Grand Prix he won the Newcomers Senior Race and took fourth place in the Senior Manx at 115.91mph.

Ryan was 2nd on a 600cc Kawasaki in the 2002 Junior Race at the NW200 behind winner Jim Moodie, won both the 600cc events on a Kawasaki the following year, had a 2nd and 3rd in 2004, and in 2005 won the second of the two 600 events.
