Mark finished third in the MMCC Newcomers Race in 1999, following that with ninth place in the Senior Manx Grand Prix. From Midhurst, West Sussex, riding the Wilson & Collins Kawasaki machines in 2000, Mark retired the 600 at Sulby Bridge during the Junior Manx, but brought the 750 home in fifth place in the Senior Manx Grand Prix.

In 2003 he finished 9th on his ZX7R in the Formula 1 class of the Isle Of Man TT with an average speed of 109.11mph on his second lap.
