Raced the 2000 season on a ZX7RR for Italian team Kawasaki Bertocchi and was Italian Superbike Champion that year. Didn't fare as well in the World Superbike scene with best placings of 8th at Assen and Phillip Island and a couple of 10ths at Kyalami and Laguna Seca.

Switched to team Ducati NCR in 2001, raced Supersport in 2002, was on a Yamaha in WSBK for the 2003 season, a few entries on a Ducati again for 2004, then was back with Kawasaki Bertocchi for 2005 paired up with Ivan Clementi on a ZX10. He is currently riding for Winston Ten Kate Honda on a CBR/1000RR
