Now riding for Ducati in the U.S. Ben started riding bikes at 5, competing against his brothers Ben and Torsten, began racing at 8, and turned professional at 16. Was AMA 883 National Dirt Track Champion in 1996, AMA Super Twins Champion in 1997, AMA Formula Extreme Champion in 1998, 2nd in 600cc Supersport Championship in 1999 and won the 600cc Championship in 2001.
ZX7R Results: Raced for Kawasaki in the AMA Superbikes championship from 1999 to 2003. Finished 2nd overall in the 2002 season after wins at Fountain, Monterey, Lexington and Alton. Also finished 2nd overall in 2001 after wins at Lougon and Monterey. Raced in a Japanese Superbike Event in 2000
In 2003 Eric scored a wildcard entry on a ZX7 to the Laguna Seca leg of WSB, he qualified 10th but didnt finish in the points.
