Jackson was runner-up in the 2001 Superbike Privateers Cup racing a Yamaha for Macsport in the British superbike season. He raced a CBR900RR for Marshall-Tufflex Honda in 2002.

He switched to Hawk Kawasaki for 2003 onboard a ZX7R joining teammates Glen Richards and Scott Smart. Richards had a number of top-10 finishes but Jackson and Smart struggled to make the top-10 at any of the events during the year.
