During that period, they were all associated with the factory backed motorcycle shop called "Competiton Wheels" in Toronto, Ontario (since Kawasaki Head Office in Canada is in Toronto), until it closed down in 2001. The chief engine tuner for the Canadian Kawasaki Racing Team was Tony Russell. He was a friend of Indy Car racer Paul Tracy from Scarborough, Ont
